I will demo 7 different foods and how to make Nutmilk. The seven foods include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert dishes .. and using leftovers! From this course you will be proficient in preparing elegant gourmet meals. In addition to the food preparation, this course will cover how to encourage and help people stay raw and will cover issues dealing with daily raw food living such as environment, friends and family, and traveling while raw. Approx 12-15 hours (2 days) Preparation of approx 7 foods, some hands on. Foods prepared MAY include: Granola, Pizza, Burgers, Potato Salad, Chili, Onion dip, Flax Crackers, Onion bread, Caesar Salad, Topics covered: þ Your experience while raw þ Detoxing (emotionally and physically) þ Dehydrating þ Sprouting þ Some Hands on Appliance Use & Food Preparation þ Eating Out & Traveling while Raw þ Sharing Level I knowledge with others This class is approximately 15 hours long. Dehydrating Made Simple We will prepare a variety of dehydrated foods including crackers, onion bread, granola and vege-burgers. You will practice spreading crackers on sheets and get to sample some finished pre-made items. Topics covered: þ Discussion of basic dehydrating, þ types of dehydrators, þ timing recipes Class is 3-3-1/2 hours long. Cost: $75.00 Includes all food
Sprouting This class will take the mystery out of sprouting. þ See sprouts in various stages of growth þ Taste a variety of finished sprouts & explore different sprouting methods þ Enjoy munching on crackers topped with “Almost Tuna” … made with alfalfa and mung bean sprouts! Class is 3 hours long. Cost: $60.00 Includes all food, and packet containing recipes and general sprouting information.
